Strong nylon gear delayer to help fix feeding issues in high speed builds by keeping the tappet plate and nozzle pulled back for a longer duration, thereby giving the BB more time to load into the hop chamber. This shape is reported to be more efficient over the round types by pulling back the tappet plate quicker so it releases quicker - giving the BB more time to move into the chamber. As the delayer is plastic it's less likely to do damage to the tappet plate. Some users recommend that you glue them to the sector gear even though they are a nice snug fit.
