JVAN's latest 9:1 / DSG gearset. Steel CNC machined with a Rockwell hardness of HRC46-50 (Pin hardness HRC55-60). Exceptional finishing and really nice meshing.
SECTOR GEAR & NEW SECTOR GEAR
The New sector gear is different from the previous version, the new version changes the position of the Tappet Plate pin, a more reasonable position, delayed Tappet Plate release time, and better performance at high speeds. In the machining, we used customized hobbing tools to improve the tooth shape and mesh better with the piston's rack. The gears are made of 40Cr steel and are manufactured through six main processes: CNC turning, CNC hobbing, CNC milling, heat treatment, polishing, and blackening.
SPUR GEAR & NEW SPUR GEAR
The whole spur gear is made of 40Cr material, through CNC turning, CNC hobbing, heat treatment, polishing and blackening process. Gear using turning and milling composite machine integrated processing molding, making the gear more precise, less swing, high-speed operation, less noise, while the gear hardness HRC42-47, the previous version of HRC33-38, hardness and toughness of all together. The blackening process we use makes the thickness of the surface covering layer almost non-existent, which is also one of the reasons why there is no dryness between the gear meshing.
BEVEL GEAR & NEW BEVEL GEAR
Bevel Gear consists of a bevel gear plate and a gear shaft made of MIM technology. Both sides of the bevel gear part and the inner hole have been precision machined to reduce the swing caused by the low precision of the MIM process. The gear shaft is produced using CNC turning, CNC gear hobbing, and straight grain rolling processes. The heat treatment process of the bevel gear and gear shaft is hardened to HRC42-47 and HRC39-42 respectively. The teeth of the gear shaft are relatively thin. In order to avoid brittle fracture, the hardness is slightly reduced to obtain better toughness. In addition, we also specially customized the tool parameters for the gear shaft to try to increase the width of the teeth and try to improve the toughness. A balance between boosting and keeping noise low.
